Celebrate the Grand Opening of the Coastal Wetland Aviary!
Join us to celebrate a BRAND NEW exhibit at the Lincoln Park Zoo: the Coastal Wetland Aviary. The 2-mile walk will wind through the Aviary, Zoo, Lincoln Park, and beyond! All proceeds will help enhance the quality of our beautiful Zoo!
Event details are listed below, but we may add more as July 18th draws closer. Check back here anytime for updates!
- Park & Check-in at the zoo’s Reed Ave entrance between 8AM and 9AM
- The 2-mile Walk will start promptly at 9:15AM at the zoo's main entrance (Route map below)
- Enjoy the route at your own pace, but please plan to finish no later than 11AM
- Feel free to stick around until noon to enjoy some good conversation with fellow participants!

The Coastal Wetland Aviary is intended to not only be an exhibit, but also an immersive experience into the natural world. We can't wait to see your reaction to this truly unique addition to the zoo!
